A few months ago, we asked readers what you would like to see on our Swords of Truth website. We suggested a couple of possibilities to get you started, and we also gave you an opportunity to offer us some feedback. Thank you so much to everyone who responded! The results have been tallied, and over the next few weeks you’ll be seeing some changes. We hope the result will be an even more engaging and thought provoking forum – a place where we can all explore different aspects of our Catholic faith together!
Want a peek at the results? Top on your list were articles on Catholic teaching and current events. Movie and book reviews, as well as articles on family life and parenting weren’t far behind. Many of you also expressed an interest in reading interviews with everyday Catholics covering a variety of topics.
For those who told us they love listening to the homilies and talks but don’t seem to be able to set aside dedicated time to read articles, we get it! We’ll be introducing audio clips of many of our written articles in the coming weeks so that you’ll be able to listen to them wherever you are – in the car, during your workout, or even while you’re relaxing on the deck.
Did you notice that we’ve made some visual changes to the website? We’ve tried to streamline our main page to make it easier for you to find all of the talks and articles that you want to check out. The featured article will focus on “Living in Truth.” It will cover Catholic teaching, current events, and the latest in Catholic movies and books. To find the most recent talks, check out “Words of Truth.” Or click on the pictures of our priests – Fr. Jerome, Fr. Nathan, and Fr. Cristino – to scope out their latest homilies. Other favourites – such as the “Saint of the Month,” “Marian Spirituality,” and the engaging “Straight from the Pew” articles by Kelley Holy – will remain unchanged.
As always, we welcome your comments and your feedback. Click on “Contact” on the Swords of Truth website if you’d like to drop us a line, or you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org . We’d love to hear from you!
