Since 11 October 2012, the Universal Church has been seeking to grow in the faith which God plants as a gift in our hearts. Taking up the call of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, the Church has been called to make many acts of faith over the course of a year that saw the stunning abdication of Pope Benedict and the election of Pope Francis. Yet our faith has not changed. In this talk, Fr. Cristino examines how, if faith is not taken up personally by each member of the Church, the one faith we share cannot grow.
This talk was delivered to the University of Calgary Catholic Community’s annual Fall Retreat.
