"Everyone who belongs to the Truth hears my voice…" (John 18:37)

Will we be resurrected both body and soul, and what does that mean if we
have been cremated?

Q: Will we be resurrected both body and soul, and what does that mean if we
 have been cremated?

A: All will be resurrected and be united in body and soul – both those who will
inherit eternal life with God in the new heaven and new earth and those who
are judged to spend eternity in hell. To have been cremated will not prevent
this from happening, as in the end, we will all likely be dust before the time
of the resurrection! What will our bodies be like? They will be the body we
had in this life but perfected or better glorified by Christ. Similar to what Christ experienced in His resurrected body, our resurrected bodies will be our real bodies, yet different – totally filled with the Holy Spirit. Christ’s body had
new qualities that did not exist before such as the ability to move through
walls and to be able to appear in one place or another instantaneously. It
seems our resurrected bodies will no longer be restricted by the laws of
nature or physics but will still resemble who we were in this life.
